The Micro Apartment realized by DIA – Dittel Architekten fits perfectly into the densely populated and popular residential area located in Stuttgart’s West. The new living accommodation is divided into two floors and is highlighted by the optimal use of space with a minimalist design.
The bright kitchenette on the lower floor is adjacent to an open, light-filled space, which serves as a continuance of the apartment entrance, and divides the micro apartment into living and dining areas. Light parquet flooring adds warmth to the lower floor and gives the room a homely atmosphere. The adjoining staircase with exposed masonry leads to the upper floor and provides an exciting transition between the two living spaces, remaining nonetheless subtle in its reduced form.
