Kö-Bogen, the futuristic structure of star architect Daniel Libeskind, is considered one of the architectural highlights of the city and provides a spectacular backdrop against which the bar can unfold its unique architectural potential. The tapered shape of the Kö-Bogen, with its fascinatingly dynamic structure, divides the external terrace into two sections, providing a thrilling view for guests and enticing passers-by to stop over for a while.
Eduard’s Bar in Stuttgart has been immensely successful ever since its launch in 2018, and the design concept for it even received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
During the implementation phase, DIA utilized the high recognition value of this concept, but also referenced the vibrant art scene of the city and gave the bar a distinctive character by introducing specially selected graphics and art.
When visitors glance into the entrance area, their attention is immediately directed towards the interior by the appealing ceiling installation, graphics and lighting. The bar’s harmonious color scheme – dominated by modern coppery overtones – and its combination with the exterior glass façade create a fascinating play of light and shadow. The reflection of the warm red colors in the windows of the bar adds an inviting ambience to the place. This warmth of the color scheme permeates the entire interior. The hand-crafted wrought-iron lamps with a golden finish, the ceiling installation made of rust-brown metal structures and the high-quality seating with a vintage look are all essential design elements with a high recognition value that have already proven their worth in the bar’s Stuttgart counterpart: a timeless design that creates a familiar feel-good atmosphere.
