»Under Construction« – Preservation of protected historical buildings and new construction

DIA is building – two existing buildings and one new construction. Completion date: Fall 2017. We are restoring two public buildings; Mannheim’s E5 Town Hall and the Tourist Information centre in the city of Schwäbisch Hall, and also building a modern estate home in the county of Heilbronn.

E5 Town Hall Mannheim

The acoustic ceiling is up, the high quality poured floor is in, the fire code inspection certificate has been issued and accessibility standards have been met; we are ready to roll! Everything is ready for the finishing touches: first, installing a glass and stainless-steel access control area, and soon after, shop fitting and setting up the interactive media wall. Prepare yourself for a modern foyer that both stands in contrast to the existing historical building but also mirrors the original building in its use of colour. We will continue to perform renovations and historical preservation work on the 15,000 m2.

Tourist Information Schwäbisch Hall

After successful demolition, all trades are lined up and ready. This integration of the existing building at the Hafenmarkt (port market) in Schwäbisch Hall with a history that goes back to 1643, deserves close attention. Tourists and residents will be greeted by an inviting symbiosis of tradition, functionality and sleek design, entering a space that awakens all the senses to the city.

Estate home – new construction

Façade, roof, painting, interior design– the construction is in its final stages. The building is a modern interpretation of the surrounding 18th century architecture, a statement of an idyllic country estate.
