For the lifestyle and fashion company Breuninger, Dittel Architekten developed the corporate design of the new Café Gent’s located on the second floor of the building in Stuttgart. The Gent’s, deriving its name from the term “gentleman,” is a café characterized by style and class. The design focuses on a strong commitment to quality and excellent service.

Simple elegance
The simple logo gets the air of elegance and sovereignty by the mixture of a classic and a geometrical font. Beyond that a harmonic contrast between black and white occurs that brings a high profile about concerning the logo. The menu contains board of smoked oak with knotholes that perfectly matches the peachiness of the café. The timber is refined by a golden laser engraving of the logo. At the upper edge of the wooden board the menu is attached by a big golden brazen clip. The menu itself contrasts the more rough timber by its processed fine paper of bronze with golden foil stamping. The ensemble takes a classically simple effect and features its fair surface feel.
